Princeton Dinky Train Ride
Saturday September 25th, 2010 -- for current Puppy Raisers
All aboard the Princeton Dinky! Take your pup on a short train ride from Princeton Junction into Princeton where we will take a leisurely stroll over to Thomas Sweets for ice cream (yum yum!).
Date: Saturday September 25, 2010
Time: Please meet at the Princeton Junction Train Station by 10:45 am. The Dinky leaves at 11:15 -- this will give us time to calm our puppies down AND get our train tickets.
Parking: there is plenty of parking but we're not sure if you have to pay on the weekends or not. If you do, I believe it is $4
Train Ride: the cost of a roundtrip train ticket is $3.50 if I am understanding the train schedule correctly. It may be $4.50.
The club will pick up the round trip ticket cost for each puppyraiser (one person per puppy) and for one ice cream or sandwich (no more than $5) at Thomas Sweets or the deli next door.
Be sure your puppy is wearing their vest or bandanna and don't forget to wear your club shirt, sweatshirt, etc... If you have a Seeing Eye lanyard, please wear that too.
Bring a puppy clean up kit and of course, your Gulpy with water for your pup.
Please read the regulations on whether or not your puppy is old enough to go on this trip -- or check with Marie. Keep in mind that if your puppy has not received all of their shots, they cannot socialize with non-club dogs on the outing or walk in grass that looks like it has been visited by other dogs.
If your plans change and you can make it or you can't make it for this outing, please let Marian know so we know to wait or not wait for you at the train station -- her email addy is in the many emails sent out by our club leaders.

Liberty Science Center Club Outing
Saturday April 10, 2010
The club is planning a trip to the Liberty Science Center for puppies and people!
Date: Sat April 10, 2010
Time: 10 am
Place to Meet: Liberty Science Center
Cost $13.50 per person / children under 12 - $10.50
The club will cover the cost of one adult ($13.50) per puppyraising family Any children going on this trip must be accompanied by their parent(s) -- Liberty Science Center is big and crowded and we feel it wouldn't be fair to ask another club adult to take on additional responsibility. If you are currently waiting for a pup, you are also welcome to join us on this outing. Because LSC is so large, we probably won't be sticking together as a group so we may split up when we get there and meet up again for lunch -- those details will be sent out later.
The $13.50 ticket just covers admission to LSC -- if you wish to go to the IMAX theater, it is extra -- prices and info can be found at their website www.lsc.org We are asking that you do not bring your puppy into the IMAX theater -- some pups may be scared of the IMAX theater and we do not want to ruin the experience for other IMAX attendees.
Please RSVP for the trip with your pup's name, your name, your cell phone # and the number of adult/children going. We will be purchasing our tickets that day but the LSC needs a rough idea of how many puppies and people will be attending.

Princeton Dinky Train Ride
Saturday September 26th, 2009 -- for current Puppy Raisers
All aboard the Princeton Dinky! Take your pup on a short train ride from Princeton Junction into Princeton where we will take a leisurely stroll over to Thomas Sweets for ice cream (yum yum!).
Date: Saturday September 26, 2009
All of the puppies in our club are old enough to go on the train ride, however, if your puppy has not received all of their shots, they cannot socialize with non-club dogs on the outing or walk in grass that looks like it has been visited by other dogs.
If your plans change and you can make it or you can't make it for this outing, please let Marian know so we know to wait or not wait for you at the train station -- her email addy is in the many emails sent out by our club leaders.
